Best Hair Straighteners and Flat Irons of 2007

CurlytoStraight.com announces the winners of the very best hair straighteners of 2007.

The standards that were used to determine this "Best Of" list are; reliability, product features, user feed back and customer support. This review does not go over all of the classes of flat irons or hair straighteners available on the market. Only higher quality products were examined and cost wasn't considered.

The following reviews are based solely on features, product quality and the feed back of customers. This doesn't consider price.

1) The FHI Runway Series - This line of straightener is without a doubt the very best available on the market. These hair straighteners have each and every cutting edge capability; 450F max temp, revolutionary heating plates, adjustable heat, lightening fast heat time, damp-or-dry styling and the most consistent plate heating of any product out there. Runway models also have the best customer feed back of all the products that we reviewed. If you want the most effective and best hair straighteners available on the market this is it, and it's going to cost you. These Irons sell for about $400.

Are the FHI Runway models really worth the money? If you can afford it, absolutely.

2) The FHI Platform Series - As a leader in the improvement of tourmaline integration and ceramic plating, The Platform series provides consumers with a premium hair straightener at a more affordable price. Available in multiple sizes, the FHI Platform series provides PTFC ceramic heat plates, adjustable temperature, ultra flash heat times and 450F max heat. While the Platform Series is less expensive than the Runway series, it's important to note that they're still expensive at about $150 - $200.

3) CHI Pink Series - The popular pink hair straightener provides the finest performance and reliability of any Farouk CHI hair straightener. Temperature control, ceramic plates, and flash heat times combined with a comfortably and ergonomically designed handle make the CHI hair straighteners an attractive choice for people that want to get the most from their hair.

4) T3 Wet-or-Dry - In actuality, this hair straightener has a rank above the CHI Pink series in product features, but it fell to the fourth space because customers have had difficulty with warranty returns. Aside from that, the T3 Wet-or-Dry provides consumers with a well-made ceramic design.

5) CHI Turbo Series - The Turbo series takes fifth place in our hair straightener review. This line of straighteners is used by more hair professionals than any other model. And while its maximum temperature and flash heating aren't as good as the CHI Pink, this is an excellent option for those who want world class dependability and performance.

Honorable Mention

Although our flat iron review features the best of the best, there are many other professionally designed, top quality flat irons and hair straighteners available today. The following are a few:

GHD Hair Straighteners - A great product with a sleek and polished design integrating numerous innovative features makes the GHD hair straighteners a great choice.

HAI Hair Straightener|Flat Iron - HAI hair straighteners have a couple of high quality choices at affordable prices; the Nu Stik and the Convertible.

FHI Flat Iron|Hair Straightener - The FHI Technique series provides a Best in Class product for the conventional models. The FHI flat iron is a high quality product with a number of of the technologies of the new millennium.

*One of the more popular models out there, the sedu hair straighteners, was not reviewed because of what seems to be misleading sales practices and the anti-competitive, exclusive online distribution agreement.
