Anxiety panic attacks and other mental disorders are often misunderstood by people and they think individuals should be able to overcome the symptoms just by themselves.

Anxiety attack symptoms may include everything from sweating profusely to having extreme heart palpitations or having the feeling of going crazy.

What is the cause of anxiety attacks? Anxiety attacks are usually blamed on stress or too much work load. Alcohol is a great cause of anxiety attacks because alcohol dehydrates the body and therefore the body and the brain can not work as it should. Drinking six to eight glasses of water or even more if you can do it, but no less is a great anxiety attack treatment.

Getting treatment for anxiety disorders can be as simple as having a good diet, relaxation and a regular exercise. Eating properly and feeding your body the nourishment it needs from day to day is an important step to equipping your organs and blood with the enzymes it needs to perform its job. GAD (General Anxiety Disorder) is diagnosed when someone spends at least 6 months worrying excessively about a number of everyday problems.
